[RuCl(p-cymene)((S)-tolbinap)]Cl - Introduction
Chloro[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(di-p-tolylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl](p-cymene)ruthenium(II) chloride is an organometallic compound, the chemical formula is RuCl[(S)-(-)-BINAP](η6-p-cymene)Cl. The following is a description of the properties, uses, preparation and safety information of this compound:
Nature:
-Appearance: colorless crystal or powder
-Melting Point: 205-210 ℃
-Storage conditions: Sealed at room temperature
-Solubility: Soluble in some organic solvents, such as ethanol and dichloromethane
Use:
-choro [(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(di-p-tolylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl](p-cymene)ruthenium(II) chloride is a commonly used chiral ligand and plays an important catalytic role in asymmetric synthesis. Commonly used in organic synthesis reactions, such as asymmetric hydrogenation, coupling reactions and cyclization reactions.
Method:
- Chloro[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(di-p-tolylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl](p-cymene)ruthenium(II) chloride is usually prepared by the reaction of dichloroplatinum and ligand (S)-(-)-BINAP to obtain [S-RuCl(η6-p-cymene)(monophine)]BAr'4, it is then converted to the chloride form by reaction with silver fluoride.
Safety Information:
- Chloro[(S)-(-)-2,2 '-bis(di-p-tolylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl](p-cymene)ruthenium(II) the use of chloride requires compliance with chemical laboratory safety procedures.
